PBW: Toying with MCF
Hopefully, if my secret weekend mission pans out, next week will yield something more on par with last week's air show photos. For now, bask in the warm glow of a nerd's old figures:

OK - how long has that Lego robot you made been sitting in your room?
Is that first Transformer attacking Zoro?
EARTHWORM JIM!
Man, I loved that game. Now I'm all nostalgic for my Sega Genesis.
Transformer, Kelly? Show Dave that photo and ask him the exact same question; see what he says. That is Zorro being menaced though, so you're half right. :)
Maybe about 15 years, Jerry? Usually once I made something cool, I didn't take it apart. I have another robot about that size, and a fleet of cars and planes(that have dual modes a la M.A.S.K. since I never had any M.A.S.K. vehicles). What's cool about that one is the hinges on the front; I should have done a shot with the LEGOman sitting inside operating it.
Believe it or not D, I never played EJ, just had that figure. I might have played it once on my friend's Genesis; I have vague memories of swinging by the worm head. I could just as easily be remembering the cartoon though.
Lets see, I think I have the exact same Pikachu(Does yours say its name), I have a the metal reissue of Voltron from a couple of years ago and I have a reissue Bumblebee as well.
I think I need to come out of the basement and just accept the fact that I'm a geek.
Nice pictures MCF, I don't think you can infringe on the copyright, since you're using the pictures for personal use.
Well Lyndon, the Pikachu is one solid piece of molded plastic roughly the size of my thumb. It has a hole in the bottom for I assume a pencil, and the only thing it says is "China", embossed on the back.
The Raichu is about twice it's size with clear cheeks and a switch on the back that doesn't do anything. I assume it once lit up and was probably a happy meal toy or something that my mom saw in a thrift shop and picked up for me.
Voltron, Bumblebee and Hubcap are all originals, and would probably be worth more if I didn't play with them when I was younger, and ever actually dusted...
And Dave, I like the way you think. :)
You've got a BumbleJumper!
I had a BumbleJumper! (or as he was called in the Dreamwave comics "Bumper" - they made the mistake into a real character!)
Wasn't a mistake, Kev. G1 issued several repaints of minibots with new names and stats in '86:
Hubcap
Pipes
Outback
Tailgate
Swerve(who I also have)
And here's the 84 molds they were based on:
Cliffjumper(note the red Bumblebee mold variant, without the rear spoiler)
Huffer
Brawn
Windcharger
Gears
How sad is it that I still know all this? :/
