Churches have some of the most unique architecture. From looming brick strongholds to modest houses, I drove around this weekend collecting a variety of shots of those in my area for tonight's Photo Blog Wednesday. I hope you'll all enjoy these photos, including my own parish, the sixth one down, and the church where my parents got married, at the very end:
I like the bottom picture best. I wish I could find this one picture I took of a church once, and scan it. I was trying to finish up a roll of film so I could drop it off and have it developed... I was on my way to drop it off, and I was sitting at a red light, and I just stuck the camera out the car window and snapped a pic of the church I happened to be sitting beside. It turned out to be a really cool picture, with the cross on top framed between clouds and a brilliant blue sky around them. It was taken randomly just to use up the last exposure in a roll of film, and it ended up being the best picture on the roll.

MCF is a mild-mannered
artist from the suburbs.
His knowledge of obscure
comic book characters
is more powerful than Gladiator

an ego-trip. Able to leap topics
in a single sentence faster than

Endor, MCF has never written
about himself in the third person
and now dreads the day he
utters aloud the fateful phrase,
"MCF is gettin' upset!"

All lovely, but I had to put my glasses on to see why one of them had a sign outside advertizing AIR
Still waiting for that supposedly "revealing" photo blog Wednesday you promised a while back...

All but three were taken from my car window. Two were taken on foot, and one from a roof.
not joking. I think it was about 3 weeks ago that you said we were to expect a "revealing" photo blog the next week.
Ah, OK, I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you were asking as sort of a running joke a la my "why dice?" inquiry over at your place.
"And the day before the party, be sure to catch the most REVEALING Photo Blog Wednesday yet!"
I also added the date on the sidebar with all the other pertinent anniversary celebration dates: "R" PBW: Wed., October 12th
This now has so much build-up, I just know everyone is going to be disappointed. :-/
Ahhhhhh, it burns.....
