And lo there came a GATHERING the likes of which the world had not seen, and all was uncharacteristically calm and bright...
I took a trip to a park today, and got my ducks in a row, among other decidedly audible waterfowl....
In lieu of a DVD set, I'll have to settle for this insanely fun ‘60s Batman fansite I found over at Mister Snitch's. Be sure and click around the site to find ALL it's secrets, including the Batman Rhapsody as well as photos and videos. Most importantly, don't forget to click on the Shark Repellent...
So if terrorists have internet access, just how stealthy is this? Then again, it's not like the photos will stop it's awesome capabilities, and besides it just looks damn cool.
I cleared all eight levels of RaidenX, can you? Hint: use only the purple lightning and heat seekers, and upgrade as often as possible.
Shooters not your style? Play a game and view unorthodox artwork with Nathan Sawaya's Brick2Brick.
Would you be upset if your favorite shows couldn't have the same music you remember when they're put on DVD? I understand the legal issues and expense, but the changes would still bother me. Hat tip to Sean.
Who else misses this show?
Because I feel like it, and because I watched 26 amazing episodes from the second season on DVD this weekend, here's the opening theme to Gargoyles. The voiceover by Keith David was added in this season, to bring new viewers up to speed. On the special features, the creator admits that he didn't like the idea of a recap and like the animation to stand alone with the music, but Keith has such a singular voice they were convinced to go with it.
Finally, 2005 BEST winners don't forget to collect your prize!

Misses Whose Line is it Anyway, or that show in particular? I miss 'em both, that's a fantastic show. Do they no longer have new shows on ABC Family?
I've been meaning to say "thanks" and "woo hoo!" for my MCF award. It's the first one I've ever got ::sniff::. So touching ... :-)
I think they still have new shows on ABCFamily occassionally, but usually re-runs. Just a couple of weeks ago I saw two shows they billed as "NEW"
Any shows billed as "new" are old ones that never aired. A lot of times when they'd film, they'd actually get enough material for several episodes and what we see are edited versions of longer tapings. The cast has all gone on to other things, including the must shorter lived Green Screen show. Either way, I don't have ABCfamily, but then I could always find the best sketches online, right? ;)
There have been a few theatrical releases where the music has changed when it comes to tv. I always hated that.
How did I miss that we got a prize last time? How do I add it to my blog?
