Calendar Daze

It's December already, folks. 2007 is just about over. It was a big year full of surprises, not all pleasant, but in the end everything worked out. I really felt the cold in my travels on Saturday, wind forming tears which soon froze. Hot cocoa at a friend's, with some amazing spice added, took the bite out of Winter. Snow is on the horizon, but I take solace in the fact that the cold months will elapse as quickly as the other nine did.

Speaking of months, hot drinks, and forced segues, CoffeeSister(Mrs. Rhodester) tagged me with a month meme. I actually think there is something to astrology, as I've noticed certain traits common to people born around the same time of year. I wouldn't attribute it to the stars or some mystic forces of course, but there is something about when we're born that affects our disposition. Here's how this particular astrological examination works:

It looks like most of those descriptions are spot on. I wavered with some of them, wondering if people who knew me would disagree, so it's tough to separate from my own view of myself. Some things there are true only in certain situations with certain people. There are plenty of times I can't control my emotions, but most of the time I keep them in check. Only those closest to me deal with the unfortunate instances where I do blow up and start yelling.

Looking through other months, I see traits that could apply to me as well. And I'm sure people who weren't born in November might recognize a trait or two as well.
